Posted by Alexander Paterno on 01 August 2013 12:00 PM

Follow these steps to change the password to your WPC account.

Passwords are required to be changed every 90 days.

Password rules are as follows:

1. At least 8 characters

2. Not previously used

3. Contains at least 3 of the following 4 characteristics

     a. Lower case letter

     b. Upper case letter

     c. Numeral

     d. Special Character

There are a few different ways to reset your password. If you remember your old password, you can use any method but if you have forgotten your password, you may reset it with Method 1.(b) or Method 3.

Method 1. Outlook

    a. If you remember your old password:

        i. Sign in to your Warner email through outlook.office.com

ii. Once you're able to view your emails, click on your initials in the upper right corner of the screen and select View account

iii. Now you can select Change Password from the menu on the screen.

    b. If you don't remember your old password but set up your verification the first time you logged in on the screen below:

        i. You just have to click Forgot my password at the enter password screen

ii. You will be prompted to verify your email address and fill out the captcha request.

iii. Once you pass that, you will use one of your verification methods to receive a code from Outlook.

iv. After you enter in that code, you'll be able to reset your password.

Method 2. mywpreset.warnerpacific.edu

       i. Your password can be expired, you just need to know it.

ii. When you get to the page, enter in your Warner username and most recent password.

iii. You will then have to select an image and set a 6 digit pin to remember for next time you need to change your password through this method.

iv. After you set those up, you can then select change your password.

Method 3. Campus Computers

     i. If your password is expired, you'll be prompted to change it when you login to a campus computer.

ii. If your password has not expired yet, login, and press CTRL + ALT + DELETE, and choose change a password from the menu.
