Change the Font Style of Email Subjects From Specific People
Posted by on 20 December 2012 05:04 PM

Applies to: Microsoft Outlook 2010

Goal: Change how the subject font looks based on who sent it. So you don't miss those e-mails from important people. Remeber though, everyone is important.

Procedure:

Open Outlook 2010

Click the “View Tab”, then “View Settings”

Click “Conditional Formatting…”

Click Add

Select what you want the email subject font to look like:
1. Color
2. Font Style
3. Size, etc…
4. Then click OK

Don’t forget to click “Condition”, and then type a cool name for this setting in the “Name:” box. I typed “IMPORTANT MESSAGE FROM DA BOSS!”. You can type what you feel works best.

Now click “From”

Type the name of who’s e-mails you want to have the font settings you put in earlier. Click From. Click OK.

Finally, keep clicking OK to close out of the rest of the windows you opened.

That’s it. All e-mails from the person/address you specified will have the font appearance you specified. Enjoy.
